Lewmar's MRT (Metal Replacement Technology) and a stainless steel central race and balls provide a weight advantage, while Long Fibre Technology offers exceptional strength and durability. The open design allows sand and salt to be flushed out easily, keeping block maintenance simple.

Lewmar Control Block Features:
  • Lightweight
  • Very High Strength
  • Impact Resistance
  • Reduced Friction
  • Easy Maintenance
  • Optimised for hand control
Lewmar Control Block Applications:

  • Mainsheet systems for dinghies and keelboats
  • Spinnaker sheets, barber haulers
  • Genoa sheets
  • Dinghies and sportboats
Lewmar Synchro Blocks
Lewmar synchro blocks are engineered for speed, efficiency and superior handling. These blocks suit a range of purposes from performance cruising yachts to specific high-load low-movement applications on racing sailboats. Lewmar uses a combination of scientifically optimised block geometry, a Free-Spin bearing and self-aligning head to reduce friction and increase efficiency by up to 40% over budget blocks on mainsheet systems.

Each component is perfectly synchronised with the movement of the rope, providing you with an easier, smoother transfer of power from deck to sail and less wear on your rope.

Lewmar Synchro Block Features:
  • Stainless steel strap for improved strength and longer service life
  • Stiff glass fibre reinforced cheeks to prevent lines from wedging
  • Innovative design with "tool-free" sliding swivel locking mechanism
Lewmar Synchro Block Applications: Plain bearing blocks are typically used for heavy and static loads in:
  • Halyard tuning
  • Mainsheet systems
  • Mast foot blocks
  • Boom vang

Lewmar Fiddle Blocks
Fiddle blocks from Lewmar are used in purchase systems to allow the trimmer to sheet in higher loads with ease. The Fiddle Blocks can be attatched onto the boom giving you a powerful purchase on your main block and tackle.  The HTX Lewmar Block range is the result of years of design and manufacturing experience, combined with collaboration with boat builders, designers, and sailors. Drawing upon the design of the racing range of sailboat blocks, the HTX blocks are constructed from a minimal number of alloy parts, providing enhanced reliability when sailing. Racing Blocks from Lewmar are designed to achieve the best strength-toweight ratio within legal race limits. These sailboat blocks feature alloy cheeks and composite sheaves which run on dual Delrin ball races. They range in size from 60 mm to 80 mm. Synchro Lewmar sailboat blocks are engineered for speed, efficiency and superior handling.

Lewmar Ratchet Blocks
Lewmar Racing Ratchet Blocks are designed to achieve the best strength-toweight ratio within legal race limits. They range in size from 60 mm (23/8") to 250 mm (9 7/8") and comes as single, becket, doubles, triples and footblocks. Easily trim in with this series of blocks which include Ratches sheaves and revessed ratchet lever.

Lewmar Ocean Snatch Blocks
For general spinnaker use. Ocean Snatch blocks from Lewmar feature soft synthetic rubber cheeks to handle rough treatment and the Synchro snap shackle. Where a snatch block is attached in a situation which will not permit full movement, such as through some toe rails, a shackle must be used to ensure full articulation.
