General Shipping Info

All Destinations:
Available shipping options and cost for your destination can be viewed during checkout before you complete your order.

United States:
Orders for delivery to the United States usually ship via UPS or USPS according to the size of the shipemnt. You can choose between the following options:

  • Ground Shipping
  • 3 Day Select
  • 2nd Day Air
  • Next Day Air
  • Most US orders ship within 24 hours. Orders recived before 11:00 EST and in stock will be shipped the same day. During business hours we will also attempt to process and ship your order the same day. If you require your order to arrive on a specific day, please select your shipping option accordingly or contact our Customer Relations team for support.

    US Territories:
    Shipping to Puerto Rico, The US Virgin Islands and other US Territories is via USPS Priority Mail where available.

    Typical US Rates:
    The following are average shipping rates (exact shipping cost will display when checking out):

    1. Small items (e.g. Harken blocks, Sailing Gloves, Shackles, Halyards): Ground Shipping $14
    2. Mid Size items (e.g. Harken Winches, Foul Weather Gear, up to 15 lbs.): Ground Shipping $16 to $32
    3. Over Size items (e.g. Forespar Whisker Poles, Spinnaker Poles, over sized tracks): Freight $100 to $480

    Note: Any items with $750 or over in shipping require a signature upon reception.

    Size and Weight Restrictions:
    Oversize and overweight items may have an additional packaging and handling fees assessed in addition to the calculated shipping. These charges will appear below the item and they are applied in your shopping basket. Certain items are too large to be handled by small package carriers (UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL) and must be delivered by a freight company. If you have any additional inquiries, please Contact Us

    Shipping Address Modifications

    Customers are kindly reminded to double-check their shipping address for accuracy before finalizing their order. In the event that a reroute or new shipment is required due to incorrect or incomplete address details (including street name, apartment number, unit number, correct zipcode, etc.), the customer will bear the cost associated with the management or new shipment.

    To ensure that any additional information or specific shipping requests are accommodated, please include them in the designated 'Delivery Notes' field during the checkout process.
    We allow a maximum period of 2 business days before the scheduled shipping date (as communicated via email or message board) to accommodate changes to the shipping address.

    Partial Shipments

    • US Continental: Our customers can request one complimentary partial shipment for every $150 spent per order.
    • International Orders: Shipments must be dispatched in full; partial shipments are not permitted.

    Note: Customers have the option to request a partial shipment at their own expense if desired.

    Shipping costs are calculated by our system automatically (other than for large or unusual oversize products or truly remote locations).     Due to certain shipping destinations and/or overall shipping dimensions on your order, our system may not be able to calculate an accurate shipping cost. When that happens, you will be able to see this message when you checkout. Please continue with your order and we will contact you within 24 to 48 hours to finalize the shipping charge.

    International Shipping

    We ship to over 75 destinations Worldwide each year.

    Shipping for international orders depends on the destination country. Options include USPS Express mail International (where available) and FedEx International Priority. Typical delivery time for USPS Expressmail International is 7-10 business days.

    Note: Please note that in certain instances, we may need to consolidate your order at our warehouse located in Florida, USA, before dispatching it to an international address. Kindly be aware that this consolidation process could potentially extend the delivery timeframe by a couple of days. We appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Return & Exchanges

    1. Returns

      Customer satisfaction is our top priority and we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. That is why within 30 days of receipt, we ensure you a quick and hassle-free return or exchange process.

      • Step 1: Contact our customer service team here within 30 days. If more than 30 days, restock fees will apply.
      • Step 2: Follow all instructions on the "Return Authorization" email. (May take up to 24 hours to be sent to your inbox).

      Please note: Return shipping charges are the customer's responsibility.

    2. Exchanges

      You may exchange your returned product for any item on the website within 30 days. Please note this is not an expedited method and can take up to 4-6 weeks before the new item is delivered. Any additional shipping charges and difference in product prices are the customer's responsibility.

      If you are in a hurry, we recommend placing a new order for the new product/s.

    3. Terms and Conditions

      • Returned items must be received within 30 days in new, unused and resalable condition.
      • The item must be in the original packaging with tags still attached. Scratched, damaged, worn, washed, or altered products will not be accepted. All returned items are subject to a close inspection prior to acceptance. If an item is received in any of these conditions, our customer service team will contact and it will be the customer's responsibility to pay the return shipping. We will only hold these items for 60 days and then they will be discarded at the customer's expense.
      • Additional fees may apply if the return does not include the product's original packaging.
      • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
      • Return shipping costs will be at the customer's expense.

    4. Exclusions

      • Customized items such as but not limited to sails, canvas and printed apparel
      • Pre-spliced lines such as halyards, sheets and control sheets.

    5. Important Note About Free Shipping Promo

      If you received free shipping on your order, any refund for returned products will be reduced by the original cost of shipping those items, as calculated by our shipping system.

    6. Returns after 30 Days

      After 30 days returns for refund may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Additional fees will apply if not returned in original packaging.

    7. Note for oversize items

      If your item was shipped to you by motor freight, please inspect the product for damage before the carrier leaves. Please note any problems on the Bill of Lading.

    8. Shipping issues:

      If you have any issues with the delivery of your order, please contact us within 10 days from the estimated shipping date provided by the courier.

    Refund Policy

    1. Refund Policy

      • Once we have received your return we will inspect it to make sure it meets all the criteria for return.
      • If it is accepted we will issue you a refund for the applicable amount (less shipping and restocking fees, if applicable).
      • Please keep in mind that credit card companies vary in the time they post credits to your account. Allow one to two billing cycles from when we issue a credit before it appears on your statement.

    2. Missing Items

      • In the unlikely event that your order is incorrect, missing parts, damaged or defective please contact us immediately and we will send you the correct item, replacement item, or replacement parts at no extra cost to you.
      • Shipping discrepancies and shortages must be reported within 5 business days of receiving the shipment.
    3. Credit Card Refunds

      Refunds will only be processed to the original payment card used for the purchase; no refunds to external cards will be issued. In case the original card is unavailable, a store credit will be issued.

    When do you ship?
    We ship five days a week (business days) excluding certain holidays. Products that are in stock are typically shipped within 24 hours (depending on the products ordered). For custom products and services please refer to the delivery time estimate on your quote.

    Something is broken or missing from my order, what should I do?
    Some orders are delivered in multiple shipments. Please check your Order Status to ensure all packages have been delivered. If your order is delivered with items missing, damaged or defective please contact us immediately.

    What is Freight Delivery / Product Ship by Truck Only?
    Freight delivery means your product will be shipped and arrive via a large truck. Freight delivery is used when the size and/or weight of the product is too large to ship using small package carriers (UPS, FedEx).

    How do I know if a product requires freight delivery?
    Delivery details for each product are shown on the product page.

    How are delivery arrangements made?
    To provide a higher level of service, MAURIPRO Sailing and the freight carrier will work with you directly to arrange a delivery date and time. In most cases the local freight carrier will call you to arrange an appointment within 24 hours of delivery.

    Can you Freight deliver to a residential address?
    No, in most cases oversize products requiring freight delivery must be shipped to a commercial address only. Your marina or boat yard are usually the best places to receive oversize products.

    What if I need to cancel or return my order?
    Orders requiring freight delivery cannot be canceled after shipment. If you refuse a freight carrier delivery, you will be charged delivery to and from the shipping address.

    What should I do when the delivery arrives?
    The most important thing to remember about freight carrier deliveries is that you inspect the package at the time of delivery. If your product and/or box(es) arrive damaged, please record any damages in detail on the delivery receipt. Ask the freight carrier for a copy of the delivery receipt. Also, record the freight company's name and trailer number so we may track the order back to our vendor or warehouse.

    It is your responsibility to check that all items are correct and that all pieces are accounted for before you sign. If you do not note specific shipping errors, we may be unable to replace your order.

    Should I refuse the delivery because of damages?
    You may choose to refuse the delivery if there is any damage to your product(s). If you choose to refuse the delivery, you must note the damages on the delivery receipt. If only part of an item is damaged, you may accept the order, note the damages, and Contact Us . We may be able to replace any damaged pieces.
