With many boats being sailed short-handed, it has become common practice to fit a Lewmar Autopilot Drives. Our comprehensive range of autopilots are easily retrofitted and are designed to align perfectly with the boat's steering system.
The Drag Links specified above are supplied with one end fitting loose to enable the tube to be cut to size and welded. If the correct centers for the draglink are known to contact your Lewmar dealer before the order for the part number relating to the center required.
Must be fitted at both ends of a torque tube. Where a self-aligning bearing is used, one Lewmar Universal Joints connects both torque tubes. Self-aligning bearings work up to an angle of 15°. AMK10 universal joints have a maximum permissible working angle of 25°. Where practical, the angle at each joint should be balanced.
