DESCRIPTION

Capstans are usually located on the aft deck to assist in the mooring of the vessel. Foot switch and remote controls can operate capstans. Capstans are supplied with 90°, or inline drives for compact installation.

Capstans can be serviced with deck plate intact from top and bottom side.

Capstan selection should be considered with warping line sizes and flexibility of warp.
