Finding the Genoa Lead cars for your boat:

Selecting the right Genoa leads for your boat is as easy as starting with the length of your boat and deciding if you require a pinstop or control line genoa kit. The Sizing below shows the lead size based on boat length.

Control line systems allow you to adjust the lead of your genoa while it is under load, allowing for perfect sail trim. With a line control genoa system you no longer need to tack to adjust the lead. You can also ease the lead forward coming out of a tack to power up or to allow for more efficient close reaching.

Pinstop Genoa Cars are simpler and are used on smaller boats and large cruising boats that don't change their lead positions frequently. Pinstop leads are also useful for the second track for a flat #3 Genoa on a larger racing boat.
