All Lewmar hatches and portlights (except old Standard) produced since October 1997 have had identification information stamped on the acrylic. On Portlights and Fixedlights the information is under the LEWMAR branding. On hatches the information is between the right hand handle and the edge of the acrylic.
Lewmar Atlantic Portlights
The Lewmar Atlantic Portlight is made with a strong aluminum outer frame with a single welded join with a lens bonded into the frame for additional stiffness. The small opening sizes (10, 30 & 32) are CE approved for in-hull installation. Made with a metal handles.
Lewmar Flush Mitre Portlights
In the Flush Mitre Portlight, the angles and levels is minimized on the surface to take away the visual impact of the Portlight on the boat. The acrylic has been moved to flush with the mounting surface, to do this 12 mm acrylic is used where Portlights normally use 8 to 10 mm. The outer frame has been made as flat as possible, and the angled face of the Standard Portlight has been removed. This has increased the quantity of alloy in the frame. The outer frame is powder coat black in color to camouflage to the acrylic lens; this is more costly than the anodizing that is normally used.
Lewmar Stainless Portlights
With its highly polished stainless outer frame, the Lewmar Stainless Portlight will really shine on your sailboat. The handles and hinge system were designed to leave the lens clear of obstructions, giving it an uncluttered view and a clean, modern look. The friction hinges are made to hold the window open.
Lewmar Standard Portlights
A perfect match for any hatch in the Lewmar range, the Lewmar Standard Portlight is stylish, competitively priced and easy to both use and install. It has been made to be fitted to thousands of boats throughout the world. The outside frame has been made to fit the outside frame.
