Tacktick Sailing Instruments & Tactical Compasses (by Raymarine)

You need instant access to accurate wind and compass data, and instrument displays that are absolutely reliable.Tacktick Instruments display all the data you'll need. Around the world, sailors and boat owners are experiencing the benefits of the groundbreaking Tacktick Micro Compass and Tacktick Micronet technology. Regardless of the type of boat, Tacktick's instrument systems make getting the boat and wind information you need simple. Tacktick wind instruments are reliable, easy to install, and easy to use.

Tacktick Micro Compass and Race Master
The Tacktick  Micro Compass gives you a huge advantage on the race course. The Micro Compass gives you clear, reliable, and precise information in the form of large, easy to read numbers. The readings are the same on port and starboard tack, so you never have to remember numbers. The Tacktick Micro Compass delivers this data right into your natural field of view. The Tacktick Race Master compass gives you all the same advantages as the Micro plus wind shift information, including how far you are above or below the mean course and how much you are being headed or lifted.  It will enable you to establish quickly and easily which is the favored end of the start line, and will help you sail the shortest distance to the windward mark. Downwind, you can see how far off dead downwind you are, and when you should gybe for optimal VMG. The Race Master compass is compatible with other Tacktick Micronet instruments to give you a full range of information.

Tacktick Micronet Instrument Systems
Tacktick cruising instruments receive and display data, such as speed, depth, wind, SOG and XTE, wirelessly from any Micronet Transmitter. Tacktick displays can be positioned wherever you need them on the boat, and they can be easily removed and safely locked away when not in use. Tacktick racing instruments receive and display data wirelessly from Hull and Wind transmitters, including polar data, true wind speed and angle, VMG and compass heading. Tacktick instruments give you instant access to accurate wind, compass, and speed data on displays that are completely reliable. Dynamic damping control compensates for sea state, giving you the fastest possible response rate, including compensating wind data from the effects of mast rotation.

Wiring failures cause 80% of electronic faults, proving that wires and water don't mix. Omitting the wires from the instrument system instantly reduces the potential for leakage and breaks in data power supply.

Easy Installation
A typical installation of Tacktick compass and instruments can be done in just a few hours, with your rig in place and your boat still in the water. And there's no need for holes in the bulkhead or wires down the mast.

Tacktick instrument displays are solar powered with integrated lithium batteries that power the unit for life. Power consumption is so efficient that units can run autonomously for up to 300 hours.

The elimination of wires in the mast not only reduces spar weight but also lowers the boat's center of gravity, giving significant and immediate performance advantage in all types of wind and weather.

Using clip-in cradles, your Tacktick instrument displays and compasses can be placed anywhere on your boat, allowing you to view the wind and boat information where and when you need it.

All Tacktick products are sealed for life and completely waterproof (submersible for 10m). This also means no condensation inside your instrument displays.
