Vectran Cover Only - Overview |
Samson Ice and Flavored Ice is specifically designed to mate with and
protect Samson's high-performance single braid ropes. The Ice and Flavored
Ice models are cover-only constructions. Both of these Samson products
are made up of a blend of Ventran LCP and Zylon PBO fibers. Flavored Ice
has polyester added to provide multiple color options. The fiber combination
allows the Ice products to have excellent resistance to abrasion and heat
build-up caused by friction under load. Use it wherever single braids
need to be cleated, pass through stoppers, or clutches. A messenger line
is incorporated into the construction so installation is easy.
