JP SURF Paddleboards
The whole range is based on radical surf board designs adapted and adjusted for the needs of SUP. Each size has a specific bottom shape concept suited to the size. They are equipped with a narrower nose section, higher entry and extra rocker for real surf board feeling. The more pulled-in pointy nose section does not limit the rider in radical bottom turns as its combination with the fast scoop rocker line develops heaps of drive. Thin smooth rails slice effortless through the water surface and provide amazing grip. This in combination with the accelerating tail kick gives the boards an incredible loose ride. The unique fin angle concept has proved to be unmatched when it comes down to speed necessary for either catching waves or busting aerials.
The whole range comes with an FCS plug in the nose to attach your GoPro camera. All boards come with a thruster set-up and also feature a mastfoot insert to attach a windsurf rig and are great windsurfing wave boards.
The PRO layup of the SURF and SURF WIDE BODY boards has no carbon as JP believes that carbon makes the boards too stiff for the surf. They have kept a natural flex pattern with strategic dual density sandwich layup and optimizing of the fiber direction. Importantly, the JP PRO boards are the lightest boards on the market that come with a deck pad.

THE LIGHTEST BOARDS ON THE MARKET THAT COME WITH A DECK PAD
In 2013 JP SUP built a strong team of SUP surfers with Keahi De Aboitiz, Geoff Breen and Jackson Close and together with great input from Kauli Seadi and Jason Polakow, were really able to push the development of the SURF line to the extremes for 2014. The level that those guys are at is demanding for smaller and more radical shapes and therefore for 2014 we developed three new sizes; 8’2”x28”, 8’0”x27” and even 7’4”x27”.
JP SURF Wide Body
JP realized that most of us simply can‘t handle such really small, tippy boards and came up with the SURF WIDE BODY concept.
They turn really tight and are also very stable. Every slightly advanced wave SUPer can handle them – in fact he will love them.
They are short, compact shapes which are very stable and offer immediate success in the waves.
The length of the board was always the limitation when riding beach breaks and steeper sections. Therefore JP worked on a board range that is very short, compact and has the ability to carve super tight turns. They kept the stability you need in mind while standing in the lineup and especially paddling your way out through the white water.
The shapes feature a flat deck, especially in the standing area.
The rails bevel off to achieve the thin rail radius every rider dreams off during radical wave rides. Even though the boards are rather wide they give you the feeling of using a “short board”.
The quad fin setup supports the radical performance. Even when the board is fully railed up you still have two fins driving you through the turns.
The bottom is equipped with a mono concave nose section running into a fl at V which increases towards the tail for additional rail rocker.
This board range breaks boundaries and brings everyone to the next level of wave- SUPing. Intermediate wave SUPers and experts will enjoy them alike.
Everybody who tried one wants one.
Jason Polakow originally said: "What do you want with that fat baby?“ He tried them in a small break on Maui and immediately ordered them for his personal use.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN JP SURF AND THE JP SURF WIDE BODY
The SURF line is more aimed at bigger waves while the SURF WIDE BODYs work great in smaller waves and beach breaks. Depending on the size both concepts work for intermediates to experts.

RADICAL TURNS – GOOD STABILITY
We all would love to ride those 8‘0“x26“ boards with 90 liters as they turn incredibly radical. But what about paddling out and in general just standing on 90 liters without being on a wave?
JP WINDSURF SUP
The ideal family toy! A great SUP and windsurf beginner board as well as a fun board for the advanced SUPer and windsurfer. Plenty of length and volume offers extra stability.
It comes with a daggerboard which provides lots of stability and makes it effortless to sail upwind. The daggerboard is fully retractable and folds back into the hull allowing you to experience planing sensation when the wind picks up.
While this board is perfect for flat water paddling or a first windsurf session on flat water, it also performs admirably in the waves in both disciplines.
If you want a board for the whole family to enjoy, or simply want something big – you really can‘t go wrong with this one.
YOUNG GUN WINDSURF SUP
The ultimate plaything for Young Guns who like to have fun in the water. Kids will learn how to paddle in two minutes and will sail in and out in two days. You could call this the missing link of windsurfing and SUPing. It is so great to see kids, who have never been on an SUP or windsurf board before, play with them and have fun from the moment they get on.
The dimensions (width, length, volume) and the soft deck technology (no hard edges) combined with the center fin make it a perfect windsurf beginner board for kids up to 40kg. At the same time it is an ultimate all-round kids’ SUP for flat water and waves.
Get your young ones on this board and they will forget those electronic toys as well as the internet.
All JP SUPs can additionally be used for windsurfing (with the exception of the RACE and the inflatable boards).
The WINDSURF SUPs have been especially developed to equally work for both sports and offer an incredible range of fun. They all come either with a center fin or a daggerboard for additional stability when windsurfing and to avoid drifting sideways during these very first hours of your windsurfing career. These boards get you on the water at any time – for fun, adventure or for a workout – or all together.
