Program?
The Mauri Pro Sailing Affiliate Program allows
you to place links on your website pointing
to mauriprosailing.com. By placing the links
on your site, visitors have the opportunity
to buy our products. If a product is purchased
through your website, we pay you a commission
for each sale.

How do I get started?
All you have to do is read the Affiliate
Operating Agreement, submit your request
to join the Affiliate Program and when Mauri
Pro Sailing accepts your application, you will
be notified by email about how to link to us
and start earning money.

Can I participate if I live outside
the United States?
Yes, but note that all commission payments
for affiliates will be pay by check made in
US dollars only.

Does my personal website qualify for
the Mauri Pro Sailing Affiliate Program?
Anyone can apply for the program. However,
Mauri Pro Sailing reserves the right to refuse
any site. Websites that contain objectionable
material, including pornography, explicit language
or content or support for violent or discriminatory
groups will be regarded as unacceptable for
the Mauri Pro Sailing Affiliate Program.

Can I apply to be an affiliate with
Mauri Pro Sailing if I don't have a website
yet?
No, you must have an existing website in order
to become a Mauri Pro Sailing affiliate. In
addition, your website must be operating at
the time of application to be considered. Websites
with "Under Construction" signs or
other placeholders are not deemed operating.

How can I download graphics and logos
from Mauri Pro Sailing to my website?
You can copy and paste the logos, banners and
html codes to generate the links. They are posted
inside your account or you can contact us for
custom graphics.

May I link to Mauri Pro Sailing from
more than one website?
You don't need to submit separate URLs (or
pages) within the same site or domain. If you
don't want separate reports for separate sites,
you can use the same code on all sites. If you
would like to get separate reports for each
site, send the names and URLs using our Contact
Us page and we'll add them to your profile.
This will allow you to create links specifically
for each site and get separate reports under
one account.

How can I promote Mauri Pro Sailing?
Mauri Pro Sailing will provide banners, buttons
and text links that you can use on your site.
We have found that the text links are the most
effective type of link for generating Mauri
Pro Sailing purchases. In addition to your website,
you may promote Mauri Pro Sailing through an
opt-in mailing list. All links on your site
must be created using the Tag Generator tool
on Mauri Pro Sailing (your account) to be tracked
accurately.

You may use any copy of Mauri Pro Sailing articles
and any site in its network in a newsletter,
testimonial or article. If you wish to write
your own copy, you must send it to Mauri Pro
Sailing for review.

What kind of advertising is prohibited?
You cannot send unsolicited email (a.k.a. SPAM)
in any way. There will be no leniency in cases
of unsolicited email. Affiliates in violation
of this policy will forfeit their commissions
and be removed from the program.

TRACKING AND PAYMENTS
How can I keep track of how many people
visit and purchase at Mauri Pro Sailing from
my site?
Simply log in to your Mauri Pro Sailing account
to access a variety of online reports, where
you can track not only your click-throughs and
commissions but also other activity to help
increase sales. To make sure that all purchases
are tracked correctly, all links on your site
must be created using the Tag Generator tool
at Mauri Pro Sailing.

May I earn commissions on my own purchases?
Yes. When you buy products from us through
your web site, you earn the same commission
on your purchase that you would from a visitor
purchase. Just make sure that you follow the
link at your web site.

When and how do I get paid?
Step 1: Log into your account and check your
earnings.
Step 2: If you accrue more than $300 you can
request a payout.
Step 3: If your account is below $300 your earnings
will continue to roll into the next cycle (month)
Payments are by check in US$. Checks will be
issue 15 days after the last day of the previous
month.

How long does the Mauri Pro Sailing
cookie last?
The Mauri Pro Sailing cookie, a small file
stored on the computer of a user that clicks
your affiliate link, lasts for 30 days. That
means that if a user clicks on your link and
doesn't purchase right away, they will have
a cookie with your affiliate ID on their computer.
If they return to Mauri Pro Sailing or any site
in its network within the month and make a purchase,
you will get credit.
