Spray top produced with input from Russell Coutts. Extremely light, it is useful for days when there is heavy spray. Characterised by thermo-taped stitching, the waterproof nature of the garment is guaranteed without breathability being compromised - a basic requirement for those who are out on a boat hour after hour. The cuffs are in neoprene for maximum grip and have a closure with an ergonomic grip. The back features two reflective oval inserts in Reflexite®. The double collar with double closure is guaranteed to keep water and wind out.
Advanced Technology Fabric. This brand name is used for a range of diferent fabrics that share the same characteristics, they are all waterproof, breathable and thermoregulation.
Waterproofing. Resistance to water is expressed in millimetres, which represent the height of the column of water wich the fabric is able to whitstand during laboratory tests before allowing liquid to penetrate.
Breathability. Two enviroments are artificially created with different hygrometic conditions and vapour is forced through the fabric, after wich vapour penetration is measured, with the result expressed in grams of water vapour per sq meters of fabric in 24 hours.
Thermo-Taped Seams. The heat application of a special backing tape on fabrics offers total protection against water penetration along seams.
Ergonomic. With a special cut and structure to facilitate body movement.
3Layer Fabric. The 3layer garments have a composite 3-ply structure made of three different layers of overlapping fabric.
Reflexite. Retro reflexite tape, constructed using microprismatic technology, wich ensures visibility and luminosity in all atmospheric conditions.
