GORE-TEX Fabric Technology. The GORE-TEX membrane contains nine billion pores per square inch and is 100% waterproof, because each pore is 20,000 times smaller than a rain drop. The membrane allows perspiration to escape because the pores are 700 times larger than a water vapour molecule.

Henri-Lloyd Pixel 2.5 incorporating GORE-TEX Technology. At the very leading edge of technology - Pixel 2.5 is the chosen solution for producing athletic 100% waterproof, 100% windproof yet extremely breathable foul weather gear, without compromising on durability. The face fabric is identical to that used in Henri Lloyd's proven GORE-TEX offshore products, which is then laminated to an extra tough GORE-TEX membrane.

The extreme breathabilty, increased flexibility and reduced weight is due to the elimination of the need for a separate lining. This can be achieved by the use of a highly specialised "pixel" abrasive resistant raised profile pattern, which protects the membrane. Without an additional lining and the highly breathable nature of the Pixel profile - a major improvement on previous generation carbon based polymer dot structures - the fabric and therefore the Henri Lloyd garments falls into the highest known category of international breathability standards.

Henri-Lloyd Ocean. Henri-Lloyd Ocean combines the super strong GORE-TEX fabric Ocean Technology membrane with the highly durable but flexible Ultra outer fabric. Henri-Lloyd Ocean has a durable water repellency (DWR) treatment which is added to further enhance it's comfort and performance. Henri-Lloyd Ocean is designed to offer the ultimate protection in the most extreme ocean racing conditions.

S3 Soft Shell ™. S3 Soft Shell Technology is a soft, high stretch woven fabric which cuts out 95% of wind combined with a Super DWR coating embedded into the fabric which makes it highly water resistant. Henri Lloyd double faced Soft Shell fabrics are constructed with nylon on the face to enhance abrasion resistance and with polyester on the back to help wick moisture away from the skin keeping the wearer dryer on the inside.

TP 2 Alpha ™. TP2 Alpha is the durably waterproof and highly breathable technology exclusive to Henri-Lloyd used in teir one design racing products. TP2 Alpha is designed for high energy activity. The secret to this improved comfort is the ability to eliminate the secondary lining, so delivering lower weight, increased breathability, lower grab and a faster drying time. This is achieved by the application of the raised Alpha Pattern Profile onto a tough yet lightweight polyamide face. Internal moisture management and Super DWR finish add to the sense of wearer comfort and well-being.

TPT ™. Extremely Breathable, 100% Waterproof, 100% Windproof, and are available in a choice of thermal linings. The TPT technology is at the heart of Henri Lloyd's clothing systems - as a stand alone garment or a mid-layer. The TPT advanced breathability reduces condensation and keeps you dry. Is 100% Waterproof Taped Seams and its durable Water Repellency (DWR) finish helps shed surface water maintaining the performance and comfort of the garment. Henri Lloyd's TPT garment are easy care and Machine Washable.

Outlast. Outlast Thermocules™ are a new phase-change material that absorbs your body heat when you create too much, stores it and releases it when you need it most. Outlast Thermocules™ work with your body to control temperature and humidity better than fabrics or insulation alone. This ability to adapt to your needs assures maximum, individualised comfort. Henri Lloyd'soutlast fabrics offer adaptive comfort for the individual across a range of products. Fabrics are currently available as coated textile, foam or in-fibre versions for clothing, underwear, accessories and footwear.

Schoeller Dryskin. Schoeller dryskin - a completely ‘transport system' for body moisture - was especially designed for perspiration-prone sports. Capillary fibres on the inside of the stretch fabric soak up perspiration like a sponge and carry it away in thousands of pores and channels. The moisture is contained in these tubular fibres and therefore the drying process is accelerated.
