The JBL Magnum series of guns is durable and accurate workhorse features a 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) drawn alloy barrel, corrosion resistant hardened stainless steel trigger, shaft and point. The JBL756S shaft is made from 17-4 spring stainless for durability and long life shaft is 56" (142.2 cm) in length with a 3/8" (9.5 mm) diameter. Handles are constructed of two-piece cast aluminum providing strength and ease of maintenance. Guns overall length is 68" (172.7 cm).
The Magnum 450 features three 9/16" (14 mm) Hi-Mod JBL230 bands with 302 stainless wire wishbones. These guns are most suitable for spear fishing among reefs and rocks where heavy penetration is needed. The Magnum 450 is designed for long range and heavy penetration. The combination of shaft length and the 9" (23 cm) long butt extension make the gun easier to load.
The JBL823 tip is designed for large powerful fish. JBL's breakaway point has 4"(10.2 cm) wings and 3" (7.6 cm) slip-tip configuration. Tip is hardened 17-4 stainless and features a multi-braid stainless cable in 1/16" (2 mm) diameter. These tips hang on no matter how hard the fight while minimizing damage to the spear shaft. Their low-profile, double barbed design allows for pinpoint accuracy and dependable deployment. Don't trust a once in a lifetime fish to anything else.
