This durable and accurate workhorse features a 1 1/4" (3.2 cm) drawn alloy barrel, corrosion resistant hardened stainless steel trigger, shaft and point. The JBL736SA shaft is made from 17-4 spring stainless for durability and long life shaft is 36" (91 cm) in length with a 5/16" (8 mm) diameter. Handles are constructed of two-piece cast aluminum providing strength and ease of maintenance. Guns overall length is 53" (1.3 meters).
The Sawed-Off Magnum features two 9/16" (14 mm) Hi-Mod JBL220 bands with 302 stainless wire wishbones, one hand safety and trigger operation. The tips are designed to punch through even the toughest fish, penetrating thick skin and hard bone. Constructed of hardened 17-4 stainless with a razor sharp finish they'll make short work of just about any game fish. Low-profile, stainless wings are quickly deployed and angled to grab tight and hold on. Sliding wing retainer allows for easy removal of fish. The patented (#4685239) rotating design allows for 360 degree spin, providing greater holding power and minimizing the chance of the point unthreading from the shaft as a result of a fish "rolling" in battle. 2-5/8" (67 mm) wing span designed to perform even after impact on rock and reef, the JBL843 is a durable workhorse. Each point is designed for low maintenance and dependability.
Gun is equipped with the JBL515 Shock Line. Guns range is 18' (5.5 meters). The Sawed-Off Magnum is used for both reef and rock fishing and for long range and heavy penetration. The combination of shaft length and the 9" (23 cm) long butt extension make the gun easier to load. The gun is made in the USA.
