Cruising boats never before have electronics been so simple,
flexible, or perfect for cruising.
Simple
to choose: just decide what data you want. This determines
the transmitters and transducers you’ll need. Now buy
a single Digital Display and you have access to all the data.
Adding more displays is easy at any time, because no wiring
or installation is necessary.
Simple to fit: the hole for the Speed Transducer
constitutes the only major essential work. The Depth Transducer
can be fitted in-hull. If Airmar Transducers are already installed,
you may be able to incorporate them into the Micronet system. The
Wind Transmitter can simply be screwed to the masthead (there
are no cables to be fed through the mast or inside the hull).
Not sure where to site each display? Attach with a sticky
pad where you think you want it, go sailing and try it.When
you’re happy you’ve found the right location,
fit in any of three ways: in a cradle (for instant removal),
frontmounted needing no rear access, or rear-mounted.
Simple
to update and modify: to add a new display, take
it out of its box, switch on, and perform a simple networking
operation. It will link itself in to your boat’s unique
network and become part of the system. No holes, no wires,
no power supply, no delay, no decisions, no worries.
Simple to use: the default settings of each
display will probably be the ones you want. If they’re
not, changing them couldn’t be more simple. In use,
the briefest of glances is enough to take in the data because
of the large digits and the Analogue Display’s exclusive
design. What’s more, no moisture can get in so there’s
no misting.
Simple to maintain: reliability is built
in because the units are sealed and waterproof. The ability
to store the displays below means they’re subject to
far less ultra violet exposure than other instruments.
