Karver utilizes the most recent generation of 3D modelling and numeric simulation software, to test material stress and ergonomics, thereby creating the highest weight/stress ratio and reliability in their future products. Following the numeric study, all Karver products are bench tested under various loads to determine resistance to wear and failure point. About Karver Blocks

The standard Karver blocks are assembled with rollers and balls bearing ensuring a very low friction. These blocks are ideal for applications, where a line under high load must run for a long distance (sheets, halyards....).

About Karver High Load Blocks

The high load Karver blocks are assembled with self lubricating bearings (Composit fibres impregnated with Teflon) ensuring a very high working load and breaking strength in proportion to their size. These blocks are ideal for applications, where a line must not run long distance under high load. (E.g. runners, barber haulers, halyards).

About Karver KBO Blocks

KBO block is very easier and faster to install a than a regular block with stainless steel shackle. KBO block include side ball and center roller bearings; friction ratio is minimum. Design and material optimization makes KBO block a very light block. The guide is removable, so its your choice to use KBO as other Karver blocks; just remove the guide and attach the KBO with a lashing.
