The Layer System is a very sound and essential principle; if you are to make the most of your waterproof breathable clothing. Any layer works specifically fitting 3 different goals: to wick the moisture away from your body and sending it out to evaporate; to provide warmth without bulk meanwhile being quick drying, and finally, to protect against the outer elements.
 Gill Base Layer. Gills's base layers are designed to wick moisture away from the body and then to allow that moisture to evaporate more quickly. They therefore keep you warm and dry by working with your breathable waterproofs.

 Gill Sailing Mid Layer. Gill offers a range of mid layers with versatil features; as Gill'slightweight stretch microfleeces, performance fleeces and Midlayers. The second layer, often referred to as the mid-layer, is the insulating layer. It is important that this layer is highly breathable so any moisture can continue its journey into the great outdoors.

 Gill Sailing Sofshell. The outer layer is where the real protection against the elements takes place and it must be completely water and windproof. Softshell is a highly breathable and waterproof fabric with stretch qualities that offer incredible fit and freedom of movement.
