Construction: Because every boat is as different as the people
who sail them, and every sailor has a different idea of what hardware
best meets his needs, Garhauer offers sailboat blocks in 3 different types:
Garhauer Stainless Steel Blocks
Designed for the true offshore sailor looking for the ultimate in rugged
dependability, these blocks are constructed of 100% polished stainless steel
cheeks and load
straps making them an excelllent choice for installation at the masthead
or other hard to service areas. These blocks improve the appearance of any
boat.

Garhauer Grey Anodized Aluminum Blocks
Unique to the Garhauer line of sailboat hardware, these block combines Type
3 grey anodized aluminum cheeks with oversized 100% polished stainless steel
load plates. This construction adds a handsome appearance to your boat and
offers superior durability due the extra load plate reinforcement.
Garhaeur Lite Blocks
It is what is missing, that makes them stronger. Garhauer have taken out the centers
of our new line of sailboat blocks and the result is a better block that is both
stronger and lighter at the same time. By removing the center pin, our engineers
have decreased the weight and increased strength by allowing the cheeks to
support the sheaves along the outer edges, distributing the total load more
evenly across a larger surface.
US are blocks with polished stainless steel surface.
USHL are blocks with a polished stainless steel surface, specially built to withstand high load conditions.
USE are blocks with a polished stainless steel surface, built for light load conditions.
UAB are blocks anodized with a black aluminum surface.
UABE are blocks with a black aluminum surface, built for light load conditions.
UAG are blocks anodized with a gray aluminum surface.
UAGE are blocks anodized with a gray aluminum surface, built for high load conditions.
